About Me

 

My name is Joshua Dahlquist, and I’ve been tattooing professionally for over 10 years. I specialize in hand-poked tattooing—a deliberate process where each mark is made individually by hand, without the use of a tattoo machine.

 

My work is primarily black ink, with an emphasis on fine line, stippling, and understated detail. I’m also happy to work with colored ink when it suits the design. I offer both custom tattoos, designed specifically for you, and pieces from my existing flash collections.

 

I tattoo out of a private studio in SODO, Seattle. Because the studio is private, I provide the address once your appointment has been booked.

Tattoos are personal, and I believe the experience should feel comfortable, respectful, and free of judgment. I tattoo people of all backgrounds and skin tones, and I welcome anyone who wants to work with me.

 

My studio is a private, relaxed space where you can take your time, ask questions, and feel comfortable throughout the process.

 

Pricing & Appointments

 

My rate is approximately $90 per hour, with a $100 minimum.

 

A $60 deposit is required to book an appointment. This deposit is applied toward the final cost of your tattoo.

 

If you need to cancel or reschedule, please provide at least 7 days’ notice. Appointments cancelled or rescheduled within 7 days will forfeit the deposit.

Touch-Ups

I stand behind the tattoos I make. If your tattoo requires a touch-up after it has healed, I offer free touch-ups.

Custom & Flash

You can choose from my existing flash designs, or we can create something entirely your own. For custom tattoos, I’ll develop the design specifically for you while keeping my hand-poked style and approach at the center of the work.
